Picos Apicos & The Pina Coladas will start you off easy with some nice swing and classic rock ‘n’ roll from the US and the UK, but before you realize it, you’ll be dancing to Greek hits from the 80s and 90s; it’s even possible that you find yourself singing along to a Eurovision medley, mysteriously executed in a reggae-ska style.

There are many surprises in the band’s playlist, which is designed for uninterrupted dance. There are no pauses for applause; there are no pauses at all, actually. At your wedding, Picos Apicos just want you to keep dancing and they’ll do it with a series of well-designed medleys, a method they have perfected after hundreds of wedding gigs since their formation in 2006.

Elvis Presley, Ray Charles and the Beatles will somehow give way to local pop heroes such as Kostas Bigalis, Michalis Rakintzis and Sakis Rouvas. However, if these latter names are all Greek to you (pun intended), don’t worry! The band is perfectly capable of playing a full set of classic party songs in English only.
